Rick Pfau began his career as a staff economist at Michigan Bell, working primarily on regulatory matters, from 1978-1986. He entered the doctoral program in economics at the University of Michigan in 1986, and completed his coursework for the Ph.D. program in 1988, majoring in industrial organization and public finance. He has worked as a consultant in antitrust litigation and regulation matters from 1988 to the present.
